The lead researcher was Elizabeth Dore who noticed that the brain of an adult that slept for more than 9 hours aged faster. Furthermore, the study proved that adults who had an average of 7 hours of sleep performed better in their cognitive tasks or had better memory than their counter parts who slept for more than 9 hours.
